Shen Serendib specializes primarily on organic tea and cinnamon. To ensure that
every experience is enjoyable, our teas have been carefully chosen. Shen's teas are unique since
they are all organic, including our flavoured teas.
Tea and cinnamon are the most popular products in Sri Lanka. So, using my prior business
knowledge, I decided to launch and provide the public with a globally recognised product. I am
also really interested in these particular two key items in my nation, therefore I started this
business to sell higher-quality, healthier products under my own brand name.
The minimum order quantity (MOQ) of any organic plain tea varieties that are infused with
organic flavours can be provided upon request, subject to availability. Additionally, there are
organic cinnamon stick/quills variation, cinnamon powder, cinnamon leaf and bark essential oils.
Our crew in its entirety engaged in numerous strategies to produce such high-quality results.

Our Story
Our inspiration for creating this company originated from a dream about change and making individual decisions to help contribute to create a more ethical and sustainable world by helping the community, and also to contribute toward preserving the planet in our little way.
Living in an ethical and sustainable world is crucial at this day and age as pollution affects everything in our modern world. Sustainability plays a valuable role in protecting the planet.
The concept behind sustainability is to replace what you use to the best of your ability and that is exactly what we do. When our product is sealed and sent to our customers, we make sure that the farmers who have cultivated the organic plants have already started the replacement procedure with minimal risk to the environment.
That is where our inception comes into play. Using traditional and ethical methods to create tasty yet healthy products is one of our two goals. By causing zero to no damage to the environment and using less machinary and no chemicals we reduce or minimize the effect of carbon released into the environment. Therefore, sustainability is one pillars of success and also one of our key USP’s.
The concept behind our product is simple as it intersects with our inspiration. Our aim is to help uplift the social and economic background of the community by maintaining ethical and sustainable practices. By creating such a background, we also aim to build a high demand for the products made, by using the same practices to increase levels of sustainability and also to bring in a straight medium of income for the villages that help provide the products.
